Pharmacological action

Combined medication. Metamizole is a derivative of pyrazolone and has analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory effects, the mechanism of which is associated with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis through inhibition of COX. Quinine inhibits thermoregulatory center, in high doses - auditory and visual areas of the cerebral hemispheres. Also, quinine inhibits the development of erythrocytic forms of malaria schizonts and gamontov, inhibiting DNA replication, has a local irritating and mestnoanesteziruyuschee effect. Mode of action developed after 20-40 min after drug administration and reaches a maximum after 2 hours

Pharmacokinetics

Data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug Analgin-Quinine is not available.

severe myasthenia gravis;
disease middle and inner ear, hearing loss;
optic neuritis;
Children under 12 years
Hypersensitivity to the drug's components, as well as other pyrazolone derivatives.

Precautions should be prescribed the drug if hypersensitivity to other NSAIDs, with the food, drug, or other forms of allergy (including pollinosis, bronchial asthma), granulocytopenia (requires monitoring of hematological parameters.)

Pregnancy and lactation

The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding). If necessary, the appointment during lactation should decide the issue of termination of breastfeeding.

Application for violations of liver function

Precautions should be prescribed the drug to patients with disorders of the liver. Contraindications disturbancies liver function.

Application for violations of renal function

Precautions should be prescribed the drug to patients with impaired renal function. Contraindications disturbancies renal function.

Cautions

Against the background of the drug should not be used radiopaque substances, colloidal blood substitutes, and penicillin. With long-term (more than 7 days) use of the drug is necessary to monitor patterns of peripheral blood. Do not use in patients with acute abdominal pain (to determine the cause). In the case of side effects (including those not listed above), the patient should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor. Analgin-Quinine can be used simultaneously with antibiotics, chemotherapeutics and vitamins. Patients suffering from bronchial asthma and hay may develop hypersensitivity reactions.

Effects on ability to drive vehicles and management mechanisms

During the drug should not deal with driving and working with machines, because there is a risk reduction of ability to focus and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting (including blood), melena, epigastric pain, agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia, bleeding diathesis, dizziness, tinnitus, clonic and tonic convulsions, cardiotoxic effects, skin rash (Bullous, petechial, bark - or tifopodobnaya), possible anaphylactic shock, coma. Treatment: gastric lavage, laxative and gastroprotective drugs, carrying out forced diuresis, restoring breathing, anti-shock measures, restoration of BCC, if necessary - symptomatic therapy, the development of convulsions - in / barbiturates, and diazepam. No specific antidote.

Drug Interactions

The simultaneous use of Metamizole with other analgesics, antipyretics can lead to mutual reinforcement of toxic effects. Tricyclic antidepressants, oral contraceptives, allopurinol violate Metamizole metabolism in the liver and increase its toxicity. Barbiturates and fenilbutazon weaken the effect Metamizole. Sedatives and tranquilizers increase the analgesic effect Metamizole.

Metamizole intensifies the effect etanolsoderzhaschih drinks. Metamizole, displacing connection with protein oral hypoglycemic agents, indirect anticoagulants, SCS and indomethacin, enhances their effect. Quinine may potentiate the action of blocking the neuromuscular transmission. Quinine increases the concentration of digoxin in plasma and enhances its effect. Cimetidine decreases the clearance and increases the T1 / 2 of quinine.

The simultaneous use of Analgin-Quinine with cyclosporine decreases the level of the latter in the blood. Inductors microsomal oxidation accelerate metabolism and reduce the effectiveness of the drug; inhibitors of microsomal oxidation increase the effectiveness and the risk of side effects.

At simultaneous application with tiamazolom and sarcolysine increased risk of leucopenia. Codeine, propranolol increases the effects Analgin-Quinine.

Terms and Conditions of storage

The drug should be stored out of reach of children, dry, dark place at temperatures not above 25 ° C. Shelf life - 5 years.
