Composition, structure and packing

Cream 1% white or nearly white.

1 g of clotrimazole 10 mg.

Excipients: Vaseline medical, peach butter, polyethylene 400, emulsifier № 1, Methylparaben, nipazol, purified water.

Pharmacological action

Antifungal agent from the group of imidazole derivatives for topical and local application. Decreased synthesis of ergosterol, which is part of the microbial cell membrane wall, leads to a change in its structure and properties by causing lysis of cells.

At low concentrations fungistatic effect, but in large - fungicide, not only in proliferating cells. In fungicidal concentrations interacts with the mitochondrial enzymes and peroxidases, resulting in an increase in the concentration of hydrogen peroxide to toxic levels, which also contributes to the destruction of fungal cells.

It is active against pathogenic dermatophytes (Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis), yeast and fungi (the genus Candida, Torulopsis glabrata, genus Rhodotorula, Malassezia furfur), agents of a multi-colored lichen, erythrasma, Gram positive (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Corinobacterium minutissimum) and Gram-negative bacteria (Bacteroides, Gardnerella vaginalis), Trichomonas vaginalis.

Pharmacokinetics

The drug accumulates in the horny layer of the epidermis. Concentration in the deep layers of the epidermis is higher than the IPC for dermatophytes. Amiklon poorly absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes, almost no systemic action.

Dosage regimen
