Syrup taste or aroma of raspberry
5 ml. Ambroxol 15 mg.
Excipients: benzoic acid, glycerol, sorbitol, hydroxyethylcellulose, raspberry flavor, purified water
Pharmacological action Ambroxol-Hemofarm
Stimulates serous cells of glands of the mucous membrane of the bronchi, increases the content of mucous secretion and release of surfactant in the alveoli and bronchi, normalizes the ratio of serous and mucous components of sputum; activating hydrolyzing enzymes and increasing the release of lysosomes from the cells of Clarke, reduces the viscosity of sputum. Increases motor activity of the cilia of ciliated epithelium, increases mucociliary transport sputum. The effect occurs within 30 min after administration and lasts 6-12 hours
Statement
respiratory diseases, concomitant with viscous sputum;
Acute and chronic bronchitis,
pneumonia
chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (including bronchial asthma with obstruction of sputum discharge)
bronchiectasis.
Dosage regimen
The drug, taken orally, after meals, after dissolving the tablet in a glass of water.
Effervescent tablets: adults - 30 mg 3 times a day, if necessary, dose increased to 60 mg 2 times a day.
Syrup: Adults and children over 12 years in the first 2-3 days - 10 ml (2 scoops) 3 times a day, then - 10 ml, 2 times a day,
children from 6 to 12 years - 5 ml (1 Scoop) 2-3 times a day,
Children from 2 to 6 years - 2.5 ml 3 times a day,
Children from 1 to 2 years - 2.5 ml 2 times a day.
Acceptance of the drug over 4-5 days - only under medical supervision.
Side effect
From the gastrointestinal tract: long-term use in high doses - stomachalgia, nausea, vomiting.
Allergic reactions: skin rash, urticaria, angioedema, in some cases - allergic contact dermatitis, anaphylactic shock
Contraindications
hypersensitivity
peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum,
convulsions,
pregnancy (I term)
breastfeeding.
Pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated in the I trimester of pregnancy at the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding. In II and III trimester of pregnancy is possible if the expected effect of the therapy outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
Cautions
With caution is prescribed for kidney and / or liver failure. It should not be combined with antitussive, hindering removal of smear
Drug Interactions
Enhances the penetration of amoxicillin, cefuroxime, erythromycin and doxycycline in the bronchial secretion.
The simultaneous use of antitussives leads to difficulty sputum discharge.
Compatible with drugs inhibiting labor.
