PYGEUM AFRICANUM

Pharmacological action

Means of plant origin. It reduces and eliminates functional disturbances of urination - dysuria, nocturia, thamuria with prostatic hyperplasia. Has anti-inflammatory effects on prostate tissue and helps to strengthen its secretory activity. Promotes suppression of residual tissue, conditioned antiproliferative effect on fibroblasts through inhibition of fibroblast growth factor.


Statement

Functional urination disorders associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia; condition after adenomectomy.


Dosage regimen

For oral - 50 mg 2 times / day for 4-6 weeks. If necessary, repeat the treatment.


Side effect

On the part of the digestive system: rarely - nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite.

On the part of the reproductive system: rarely - pain in the testicles, gynecomastia.

Allergic reactions: seldom - skin rash.


Contraindications

Increased sensitivity to drugs of the African plum.


Cautions

During treatment requires regular monitoring of the prostate gland.
