Release form, composition and packing

Effervescent tablets

1 tab. acetylsalicylic acid 400 mg.

ascorbic acid 240 mg.

Clinico-pharmacological group: NSAIDs combined structure

Pharmacological action

Combined medication. Acetylsalicylic acid has analgeziruyushee (pain), antipyretic, in high doses - anti-inflammatory effect. Has antiplatelet (preventing the formation of blood clot) activity. Contained in vitamin C restores the body's need of ascorbic acid.

The main mechanism of action of aspirin is an irreversible inactivation (suppression) of the enzyme cyclooxygenase (the enzyme involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins in the body), resulting in disturbed prostaglandin synthesis. (Prostaglandins - biologically active substances produced in the body. Their role in the body is extremely versatile, in particular, they are responsible for the appearance of pain and swelling at the site of inflammation). Adding vitamin C increases resistance, reduces vascular permeability.

Statement

fevers (a sharp rise in body temperature), including acute respiratory (breathing) infections.
thrombophlebitis (thrombosis blood clots).
thrombosis (blood clot in a vessel) vessels in the retina.
cerebrovascular accidents.
coronary artery disease

Dosing regimen

Drug is prescribed inside. For the treatment of pain, fever states a single dose of aspirin-C for adults is 1-2 tablets, daily up to 8 tablets. For children older than 4 years of a single dose tablet -0,5-1; daily - 1-4 tablets. A single dose if needed can be taken 3-4 times a day with an interval of 8.4 hours

Soluble form of aspirin - Aspirin UPSA. Tablet dissolved in a glass of water. Adults as an analgesic and antipyretic appoint 0,25-1 g 3-4 times a day. The maximum daily dose -4 g (12 tablets). As an anti-inflammatory agent -0,5-2 g 3-4 times a day. The maximum daily dose - 6 grams (18 tablets).

In children the usual dose is 25 to 50 mg / kg / day for 4-5 receptions at intervals of not less than 4 hours maximum daily dose - 100 mg / kg per day. At the age of 10 to 15 years (with the weight of the child from 30 to 50 kg) single dose of 375-625 mg (1-2 tablets) daily dose - 1500-2500 mg (4,5-7,5 tablets). At the age of 4 to 10 years (with the weight of the child from 16 to 30 kg) single dose of 200-375 mg (0,5-1 tablet) daily dose -800-1500 mg (2-4,5 tablets).

Children and adolescents (14 years) with diseases that are accompanied by hyperthermia (fever), aspirin-C is desirable to assign only the ineffectiveness of other drugs.

For prevention and treatment of stroke dose of 0,125-0,3 grams per day. In unstable angina and secondary prevention of myocardial infarction, the average daily dose of aspirin is 0,3-0,325 mg. The daily dose is recommended to divide into 3 doses.

In patients with underlying liver or kidney function should reduce the dose or increase the interval between doses.

When you receive tablets should be dissolved in water and drink.

Side effect

In patients suffering from allergic diseases, including bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis and sennym (runny nose), hives, skin itching, swelling of the mucosa and nasal polyps, as well as in combination with chronic respiratory tract infections in patients with increased sensitivity to the analgesic and antirheumatic drugs of any type, may develop "aspirin" of asthma (acute attacks of breathlessness, caused by the intake of acetylsalicylic acid).

In rare cases - hyperergic reaction (eg, skin, attacks of breathlessness), in very rare cases - a complaint from the digestive tract, gastrointestinal bleeding, thrombocytopenia

Contraindications

Should not be used for pathological bleeding.

Undesirable to use the drug for the simultaneous treatment with anticoagulants (eg coumarin derivatives, heparin), with a deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, asthma, hypersensitivity to salicylates and other anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic or other allergens in chronic or recurrent diseases of the stomach and duodenum, and renal impairment, during pregnancy, especially during the last trimester.

During the period of breast-feeding while taking aspirin-C in normal doses interrupt breast-feeding is generally not required. With regular high doses of the drug should decide the issue of termination of breastfeeding.

Without the supervision of a physician medication should only be taken in normal doses, and only a few days.

In case of overdose with mild intoxication (poisoning), nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain (stomach area that is located directly under the place of convergence of the sternum and costal arches), and (especially in children and elderly patients), tinnitus, dizziness, headaches , reduced vision and hearing.

With substantial overdose appear incoherent thinking, confusion, drowsiness, collapse (sudden drop in blood pressure), tremor (shaking of the limbs), dyspnea, choking, dehydration, hyperthermia (elevated body temperature), coma (unconsciousness), the alkaline reaction of urine, a metabolic acidosis (acidification in metabolic disorders), respiratory (gas) alkalosis (zashelachivanie), disorders of carbohydrate metabolism.

Lethal (capable of causing death), the dose of aspirin for adults - more than 10 grams, of children - more than 3 years
