Risperdal is strictly not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.

Despite potential risks, the drug continues to be a blockbuster drug to market during the last 8 years, primarily due to the requirements of physicians who remain unaware of their potential danger and risk, and not in search of safer alternatives.
